About Toby
I am 20 year old maths student who has a genuine love for mathematics. Most other students don't share my view, and this is in part due to generally dull and poor teaching, and loss of confidence. This is despite the fact that maths permeates all STEM fields and has great relevance in many non-STEM subjects too.
I hope that I will be able to restore your confidence in your own mathematical ability and boost your grades.
As for me, I enjoy playing the piano and programming.

I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics and AQA Level 2 Certificate in Further Maths and A* in A Level Mathematics and A* in A Level Further Maths.
I will teach via video call with a virtual whiteboard. Tutorials will be 1 hour by default, but I can be flexible if you would like more or less time.
I will use a mixture of guiding students through problems, walking through problems and reteaching content, depending on the requests of the student.
I will create and set problem sheets personalised to the particular student if they wish.
