About Ella
My name is Ella, I am a second year neuroscience student who understands that biology can be a very difficult subject to understand. I found it challenging myself at GCSE until I discovered how to properly revise and study biology, which has now resulted in me developing a great love for the subject! I am fascinated by human anatomy and the mechanisms it uses to control and protect itself as a highly functional and intellectual organism. I love to teach and help others understand this wonderful subject in the hope that they can find as much joy in it as I have!

I am an enthusiastic student and achieved A*AB at A-level in Chemistry, Biology and Psychology. I also achieved a 1st in my first year of neuroscience at University of Nottingham. I have a years experience tutoring biology GCSE and my students all achieved great results!
I understand that biology can be a tricky subject to master as it has a vast amount of content which may be difficult to fully comprehend. In my experience with tutoring, students often prefer a thorough explanation of the topic they find difficult, followed by practice questions and short memory tests.
I cater my teaching towards GCSE students and year 12 students to help them fully understand the ground knowledge of biology required to excel in year 13.
A lesson is typically an hour long but can be changed if need be.
