About Amee

I'm a Spanish teacher in a north-west London secondary school. I’ve been a teacher for 6 years, head of KS3 (years 7-9) in Spanish, teaching beginners to A-Level students and I’ve been tutoring for over 10 years. I love Spanish and I'm an enthusiastic, hardworking and fun tutor. I want your child to gain confidence in their Spanish and love it like I do, mastering written and spoken Spanish. My teaching style depends on what each child needs, I think it's important to tailor tutoring to each individual depending on what the student needs. I like to create a fun, interactive, comfortable and friendly environment to increase the child's confidence in the language, focusing on all the different areas of Spanish; reading, writing and spoken. I can go through the course curriculum, tutoring the children what they learnt in school in a different way or I can focus on specific areas the child struggles with, increasing their knowledge and fluency and also their confidence in the language- which is absolutely key. I prefer to speak in Spanish throughout the lesson, reinforcing everything that has been learnt, and I will use a wide range of resources; textbooks, songs, films, newspapers, making learning fun! So get in touch if you're interested! Hasta Luego!! University : - King's College London - Hispanic Studies and Portuguese and Brazilian Studies [2:1] - University College London - PGCE [Outstanding] Prizes and Scholarships : Awarded ‘Silver Crown’ for dedication and efforts to the King’s College London Student Union. Awarded the Emmity Klein Cup for outstanding achievement and dedication in Spanish.

Perfect! IGCSE Spanish
My son is studying in Year 9 in a boarding school. This is the first year he met Spanish. His performance was not very satisfactory and he was not confident in Spanish until we met Amee. Amee’s teaching is well organized and interesting. My son gains confidence in Spanish after 3 lessons. I m certain my son would improve much after further guidance from Amee.

Amee is one of the best tutors I've had so far. She helped me progress a lot for me AS level Spanish exam. What I loved most about her classes was that she always found a way to make them fun and entertaining so I enjoyed the whole learning process. I even used to look forward to being tutored!

I was so happy with Amee as my tutor. She helped me a lot improving my Spanish and English. She really took the time to explain every matter I had difficulties with, either grammer, spelling, speaking or listening. Her explanations are very clear and structured, so I could take really good notes, which I can keep forever.

Amee is so friendly and welcoming that she made the daunting experience of learning a language fun and exiting! She helped me at GCSE level to get my head around some complicated grammatical structures and even taught me the subjunctive!! Needless to say, she played a great part in my acquired A* grade!

Amee is such a patient and imaginative tutor, I really appreciated her energy and creativity in our lessons. She adapted the lessons to my specific needs which were speaking and listening and each lesson I could recognize my development which I didn't get at school.
