About Kiran

I want to guide students into the beautiful world of fingerstyle guitar. It’s more than just playing chords, it’s learning how to make the guitar sing melody, harmony, and bass all at once. Once you develop this skill, you’ll never get bored. The instrument becomes your orchestra in your own hands.

About the lesson

Here’s a clear and professional class structure you can present as a music teacher:

---

Guitar Class Structure

Foundation (Beginner Level)

• Basic guitar anatomy and tuning
• Proper hand positioning and posture
• Open chords and basic strumming patterns
• Rhythm training and chord transitions

Goal: Build clean tone, timing, and confidence.

---

Chord Development (Beginner to Intermediate)

• Major, minor, 7th chords
• Barre chords
• Smooth chord switching techniques
• Playing along with simple songs

Goal: Strong chord control and rhythm stability.

---

Fingerstyle Basics

• Introduction to finger positioning
• Thumb independence exercises
• Basic finger plucking patterns
• Simple melody with chord accompaniment

Goal: Develop coordination between thumb and fingers.

---

Travis Picking & Advanced Fingerstyle

• Travis picking technique
• Alternating bass patterns
• Playing melody while maintaining bass line
• Independent thumb control
• Combining chords, bass, and melody simultaneously

Goal: Play complete, melodious arrangements solo using thumb and fingers.

---

Musical Expression & Creativity

• Dynamics and tone control
• Creating your own fingerstyle patterns
• Intro to simple lead ideas within chords

Goal: Help students sound musical, not mechanical.

If you want, I can also compress this into a short version for interviews or demo classes.
