About Lucas
I skate on the ice as a hobby since I was a child and for 5 years now I have used inline skates, instead of the bike or the car, to move. I have never participated in any competition but, when winter comes and the ice rinks are open, I often help friends who want to learn how to skate there.

Skating both on ice and on the roads is a lot of fun, besides the fact that it is comfortable and fast as a method of moving. To learn you need balance and a solid base so you start from the position of the legs and the movement of the center of gravity, then move on to push forward, brake and make the curves, both normally and crossing the legs. Finally you learn to go backwards, and as before, to make the curves normally and crossing, and then learn the tricks like: jump, change direction, stop suddenly, do the slalom, etc.
