About Patrick
I first began tutoring when I was in elementary. It was mostly helping my peers with simple addition and subtraction but I got a real sense of fulfillment when I saw that it began to make sense for them. This habit continued on through middle and high school where I eventually became a teacher's assistant for chemistry and calculus. My learning experience has not been without friction, however, and I know perfectly well what it's like to struggle with a subject. Further, I know how the right instruction and guidance can make a world of difference for the student. I hope that I can be that help for you or your student.

Before we work on a single problem, we'll have a general conversation about math, what it means to you, and how we can find a way to make it more intuitive. I approach all lessons from the first-principles point of view and I value simplicity over complexity. We can tailor lessons plans that best fit your style of learning whether that be auditory, visual, hands-on or any combination of either. I tutor for all age levels from elementary through college and am looking forward to working with you!
