About Andy
I’m a Health Sciences student at SFU with a strong foundation in math and science. My tutoring style is patient and supportive, focusing on breaking down difficult concepts and engaging with my students. Each lesson is personalized to the student’s needs, whether that’s test prep, homework help, or building long-term knowledge. My goal is to make math less intimidating and help students feel capable and motivated in their learning.

As an Health Sciences student, I focus on making math clear, practical, and easy to understand. Coming from a strong math background, I can break concepts into simple steps, use real-life examples, and encourage students to explain their thinking so they truly understand, not just memorize.
Lesson Style:
Sessions will include a quick review, clear explanation of new topics, guided practice, and independent problem-solving, with support and engagement along the way.
