About Shanthi

As an English Literature university student, I’m passionate about literature, learning and helping others succeed. Having experienced the dedication and hard work required to achieve high grades, I understand how challenging English can sometimes feel. I want to use my own academic experience to make learning more accessible, enjoyable and less stressful for others. I’m approachable, patient and committed to helping students recognise their abilities, build confidence and feel proud of their progress. Seeing students grow in confidence and achieve goals they once found challenging is what motivates me to tutor.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is friendly, patient and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. Through clear explanations, interactive discussions and personalised feedback, I’ll help students develop their analytical and essay-writing skills, strengthen their understanding of texts and approach exams with greater confidence. Having achieved high grades myself, I understand the importance of effective revision and exam technique, and I’m passionate about helping every student reach their full potential.
