About Useful_jer
I am a year 13 student from Twynham Sixth Form who has just finished A-Levels and is currently planning on a gap year. I would like to tutor students because I enjoy the feeling of sharing knowledge and helping students. Although I have no experience in tutoring, I have taught some year 12 students maths and further maths in my sixth form. If I am your tutor, I will share every tips that I have used in my learning and even provide assistance outside of lesson time.

Mandarin
Lessons will usually be 1 to 2 hours for pupils from 13-18 year olds . I will start my lesson with a brief introduction on the topic and a quiz on the content previously covered. Then, depending on the student's level, I will give out chapter-based questions and walk them through. The quote 'If you can't explain it simply you don't understand it well enough.' deeply affected my approach to learning. Therefore, I will ask my student to attempt their working out in a question to me and I can act as their student to question them at appropriate times to stimulate their thinking. I believe this will help further their understanding. Students can send out problems to me that they struggle with through their parents and I will try to answer it as soon as possible, or I can explain it during the lesson.
