About Rebecca

I have a current California teaching credential and my Bachelor’s Degree is in English. I taught Kindergarten through grade twelve in the San Diego Unified School District for over twenty years and have worked as a tutor online for the past five years. I also hold a Master's Degree in Technology for the Classroom.

About the lesson

I am familiar with all levels of readers from preschool to college. I can quickly adapt to your student's learning style--building on strengths and recognizing where support is needed. I aim to
help your student succeed as a reader/writer who understands how to analyze literature. I help students articulate thoughts into recognized critical thinking patterns sought after by schools and universities. I am personable and energetic and I easily build positive relationships with my students.

Becky is an outstanding English teacher who brings passion, patience, and professionalism to every lesson. Her teaching style is both engaging and effective, making even the most challenging concepts easy to understand. She encourages students to express themselves confidently in English and creates a supportive learning environment where everyone feels valued. Thanks to her dedication and enthusiasm, I have made great progress in both my spoken and written English. I truly appreciate her hard work and inspiring guidance.
