About Scott
I'm an intermediate software engineer & developer, I've worked for a range of organisations and I always like to learn and want to spread knowledge to those wanting to learn.
The reason I teach is that I feel like I can convey words clearly and help imagine and see things, and I think this is something worth spreading to others and helping others learn and grow to do greater things with a little push.
I have a deep love for bunnies, I enjoy gaming and can be a bit of an easygoing oddball. I am interested in Japanese culture as someone with Japanese friends and I love coding and spreading it around.

I am a very forward and interactive tutor, I tend to provide interactive questions, break down information, allow a lot of room to ask questions and ensure engagement as I believe this is the best way to understand things at a fundamental level. I think to know why is as important as to know what so I like to allow students to try things to understand WHY something behaves a certain way.
I am also very hands-on, there'll be live coding demonstrations, showing of documentation and examples and other online resources such as Codewars.
Languages, Frameworks & Databases I am stronger with: TypeScript/JavaScript, C#/.NET, Golang, React, MongoDB/NoSQL, SQL, Web Services and Algorithms.
I can typically do up to 4 hours of tutoring at a time and I am able to support all age and experience ranges, I also highly encourage those who are new or have no experience because it's best to start from somewhere and it's sometimes difficult to get a foot in the door.
