I am a software test engineer and have been tutoring high school and college-aged students for the past 5 years. I have a bachelors degree in mathematics and biology and am currently working on my masters degree in engineering management.

My favorite method of teaching that seems to work very well for math courses is a very hands-on approach where students are shown a new principle and how to use it through a few teacher led examples and then the student walks through examples on their own with some guidance to solidify the concepts.
