About Tia
I am a driven and enthusiastic individual with a strong passion for the Law and learning. I have a fundamental understanding of what students need to reach their full potential, having been there myself not too long ago.
I believe it is important to break information down and approach content in a 'exam' focused way. I understand that every student has stronger and weaker points and I like to focus my tutoring on what you as a student feel you need the most support with.
I have a Masters Degree in Law & Business and LPC (achieving a Distinction) and have recently qualified as a solicitor. I think my current and combined experience in practice and at academic level makes me a great tutor!

My approach to lessons and teaching is adapted to suit you as the student by tailoring sessions to your needs. My lessons focus on each of your core modules on courses at both A-Level and University level. I welcome students of any age!
My lesson styles include: how to approach essay and problem style questions, summarising legal elements & legislation, how to summarise and cite important case law, understanding broader legal concepts and how they apply to wider society and understanding the UK court system.
I would expect a typical lesson would be 1 hour so I can ensure you get the most from your experience with me. However, I can offer more or less of my time if required.
I have no previous experience as a tutor before 2022.
