About Godfrey
I started dancing as a kid. I have performed as a soloist, choreographed and taught dance from Scandinavia all the way to Australia's Sydney Opera House and throughout New Zealand.
My teaching and choreographic experience include The Jamison Dance Company - Sydney, Australia, The Limbs Dance Company & School, Auckland, New Zealand, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Seattle, Olympic Ballet, Seattle and various dance projects around the world.
I also coach and train competing gymnasts, athletes and fashion models as well as kids and adults enthusiastic about classical ballet and lyrical Jazz.
I hold a master's degree in Performing Arts with specialty in Dance from American University where I taught dance. I am currently a doctoral student in Health Education researching dance and movement for mental health, physical comportment and emotional wellness.
The beauty of dance completes the cycle of perfect health.

As a lyricist, my approach is infusing elegance and simplicity into movement for expressive clarity. To achieve that, I teach you the fundamentals. That includes how to use breath for effective relaxed execution.
The lesson includes warm-up, center and final choreography.
