About Raquel
I have taught in multiple settings including a 5th grade classroom, middle school STEM classrooms, high school Chemistry and Algebra classrooms, college Chemistry tutoring groups, and even private one-on-one tutoring at home. These diverse experiences taught me how to adapt to different students and environments.

I believe that learning STEM is more than just memorizing! It can be fun and teach many life skills. Skills that can help any student in their future goals. I try to make the subject at hand applicable to their interests. I also believe in challenging students more than they think they can handle, because this helps boost their problem-solving skills and creativity. It also shows them that they are able to overcome problems through persistence and foundation. I try not to make it too hard, because this will just discourage the student. Balance is key.
