About Aalia
Hi I'm Aalia from Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. I'm a native English speaker and a certified 120hr TESOL teacher from World TESOL Academy (certificate WTA(concealed information)). I'm a mum to a wonderful 2-year-old, which is why I am so passionate about teaching young children with patience and kindness. I love helping kids find their voice in English and watching their confidence grow. I am currently preparing to teach abroad in Turkey and I love connecting with learners online in the meantime.

My lessons are fun, patient, and play-based, perfect for young learners aged 3 to 12. As a certified 120hr TESOL teacher from World TESOL Academy and a mum of a 2-year-old, I understand how children learn best through songs, stories, phonics games and conversation. I focus on building confidence, not just grammar. Each lesson is personalised to your child's level, with gentle correction and lots of encouragement. Online via Zoom, with worksheets and homework help included. First lesson is free to see if we are a good fit.
