About Carlos
-I have five years teaching Spanish in the United States, specifically to High School students.
-I teach levels 1, 2, 3, 4 and Advanced Spanish, for students whose first language is English and also for students who know Spanish.
-During my classes I teach vocabulary, oral and written expression, conversation, reading, writing, culture of Spain and the Hispanic countries.
-Most of my students reach A and some are outstanding with A+.
-Teaching Spanish to High School students has allowed me to achieve a high level of training not only when teaching my classes, but also in understanding the culture and idiosyncrasy of the students.
-I really enjoy being friendly with the students.

-My first university degree is a Journalist, so I have an excellent command of the Spanish and Latin American language, literature and culture.
-As a teacher, depending on the level of the students, I first teach new vocabulary, which is related to real-life situations; then I teach grammar, also with practical application in real life; both knowledge are mixed with cultural themes; and then I teach reading, reading comprehension, and writing.
-As a tutor I am ready to help students with any knowledge they need related to the Spanish language, including expressions and phrases that can help them communicate fluently if they visit Spain or Latin American countries. Likewise, if it is of interest, I can teach the history of the language, and the history and literature of Spain and any Latin American country.

It is a privilege for me that I know Carlos for more than twenty years.
