About Hector
My name is Hector Mendoza-Yamamoto.
In my 14 years of experience I have taught Spanish 1,2, 3 PAP, 4 AP (Culture), 5 AP (Literature), 6 (Conversational), Native Speakers 1 & 2.
My students have had success in speaking the language and because of this, been accepted to different schools and moved up levels.

My methodology is the personal question and answers (PQA) method mixed with gamification.
People will retain information when it pertains to them, quicker. Especially when learning a language.
With these PQAs, I use vocabulary and grammar concepts in context, without making making the language a mystery.
Plus, I use all the aspects of language acquisition to retain the language.
The student dictates the topic and I lead them to how to express themselves in the target language.
