About Andrea
My teaching story started in Mexico around 3 years ago when I gave a short creative writing course to high school students. After that course I realised that my true passion was teaching. Some months later I arrived in Australia and did my CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults). I have been teaching English for 1 year and 5 months, first at Navitas Sydney and then at Navitas Brisbane. I love it so much that I decided that I also wanted to teach my native language (Spanish) . Therefore, I recently finished my FPELE (Certificate in Spanish Language Teaching) at International House Mexico and I am ready to share my beautiful language with anyone that is open to learn.

My teaching method is immersing the student in real life situations where they can learn more naturally combining skills (listening, reading and writing) ,vocabulary and grammar using different types of materials such as videos, interactive exercises, songs, etc.
The study plan will be tailor made for each student based on the first lesson (free) where the student will do a Spanish level test and also talk about interests, reasons for studying and goals.
