About David
I am a lecturer in Spanish at an Irish university and am a former secondary school teacher of Spanish.
As someone who took up the language as an absolute beginner at university myself, I understand the process of Spanish language learning, including the obstacles and pitfalls that need to be avoided.
I focus on exam structure and exam technique. However, I also like to use Spanish-language news stories, sports, song lyrics and pop culture as a way to get students enthusiastic about learning the language -- whatever helps to spark your enthusiasm for the language.
