About Maria

I hold a college degree in Modern Languages and Business Administration. I have worked in corporate environments in 3 different countries as well as a Spanish tutor online and in person.

I have also developed my own material based on grammar and conversation with interesting short stories that incentive conversation and interaction which I believe is the key to learning a language effectively.

You will have access to all my material for free once you enroll in my class.

About the lesson

Hello! I'm Maria and I'm excited to be your Spanish tutor. I'm from Venezuela but I've been living in the United States since 2019. I love teaching my native language and connecting with my students.

I have been teaching Spanish since 2005, creating custom materials for my students. I've found that short stories tailored to their level get the most results because of the opportunities for engagement and interaction.

Let's start learning Spanish together! Let's dive in

First of all,i want to say that, spanish is a beautiful important language in the world,at first i tought it is very difficult to learn it but when i started with a experienced teacher,i could progress rapidly because i had a bilingual teacher who speaks english and spanish perfectly and she knows well how to transfer grammatical objects to a learner because the grammars are necessary to learn foreign language, now i am really happy that i can communicate easily with people who speak spanish.
Thanks mrs.Maria Hicks for teaching me
