About Iara

I am a Law and criminology graduate, with a master's in law but asides from this I have loved languages since a young age. I have both GCSE and A-level grades in both Portuguese and Spanish, reaching top grades in both. I have tutored others for 9 years in school, outside of school and even created after school clubs to help younger students. My aim is to help students get higher grades in Portuguese and Spanish, I love to build their confidence and show them they are more than capable. It is important for me that I find ways in teaching that suit you as everyone is different, so I like to incorporate this into my lessons! Learning can be fun and you can do it, let me help you build your confidence and your grades.

About the lesson

My teaching method is by first analysing what areas my student is great at to the areas they are struggling. Then code it with red, amber and green on each topic. In addition to this, I use flash cards, mind maps, verb tables and a text book as well as online resources.
