About Lila
My teaching approach to Spanish is gentle, reflective, and focused on personal growth. I create a calm learning space where students can explore the language at their own pace. Mindfulness activities, such as breathing moments and short guided reflections, help students feel grounded before we begin speaking. I also include journaling in Spanish to build emotional awareness and expand self-expression. These practices make learning feel natural and supportive. I teach emotional vocabulary, everyday conversation, and simple storytelling to help students connect language with their inner world. Lessons are paced according to each learner’s comfort, allowing steady and stress-free progress. I work especially well with Conversationalists and Immigrants/Newcomers who want to find their unique voice in Spanish. With steady guidance, students grow confident in speaking about feelings, experiences, and daily life. My sessions are warm, patient, and adapted to individual needs. I encourage learners to express themselves honestly and without fear of mistakes. Over time, students discover a deeper sense of calm and clarity through language.
