About Sarai

I’m an educator with five years of experience in special education, a B.A. in Psychology, and a passion for helping students discover their potential. My experience as a special education case manager has taught me that every student learns differently, and the right support can make all the difference. I focus on building confidence, strengthening academic skills, and helping students become more independent and organized learners. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and celebrating their progress. I’m also fluent in English and Spanish and welcome the opportunity to support students and families in either language.

About the lesson

My Teaching Method
I combine my psychology background and 5 years of special education experience to help students build effective learning habits. I break assignments into manageable steps and teach practical strategies for organization, time management, and independent learning.

Typical Lesson Plan
We review assignments and deadlines, prioritize tasks, work through academic challenges together, and finish with clear goals for independent practice.

What Sets Me Apart
My experience as a special education case manager, background in psychology, and ability to develop individualized strategies help me meet students where they are. I’m also fluent in English and Spanish.

Who My Lessons Are For
Elementary through high school students, college students needing organizational support, and neurodivergent learners, including students with ADHD, IEPs, or 504 plans. I support reading, writing, math, study skills, and executive functioning.
