About Rosie
I am a speech-language pathologist with 10 years of experience working in schools and supporting struggling readers in elementary school. I also have extensive experience teaching preschoolers to read, helping them build the skills they need to enter kindergarten ready to learn and succeed.
I have a master’s degree in speech-language pathology and training in a variety of literacy intervention programs, including Lively Letters, Heggerty, Fundations, Recipe for Reading, Sounds Sensible, and more! I always conduct assessments to determine which program and approach are the best fit for your child.

As a speech-language pathologist specializing in literacy, I have a very unique way of approaching reading lessons that directly support children who are struggling with reading. I am trained in a variety of literacy programs and conduct assessments to determine the best approach specific to your child. Once we determine your child's needs, I take a family-centered approach, ensuring that you always know how to help your child so that they can be reading fluently as quickly as possible. I have specialized training in the tools that are needed to support reading for struggling readers and teach those tools to my students' families.
I offer weekly reading lessons for children who are struggling to read or just want to get ahead. Every lesson will contain review and a new concept to keep them moving forward. I will always offer easy, quick, at-home practice suggestions if desired.
