About Mairah
Hi, I’m Mairah! I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence at Sunway University. I work as a full-stack developer, and I was a Stanford Code in Place section leader, where I mentored beginners in Python and computer science fundamentals. I’m patient, friendly and professional, and I make programming feel simple and enjoyable. Whether you’re starting from zero or building real projects, I’ll help you learn with confidence.

Hi, I’m Mairah, an IT graduate and full-stack developer who loves making programming feel simple and approachable.
How I teach
I don’t start with definitions or jargon. I begin with an everyday analogy and a small, simple example, so you understand the idea first. Then we put the technical terms on it and build from there. For example, a variable is like a labeled box, and a loop is like repeating a recipe step until the dish is done. Once the idea clicks, we practice with short hands-on exercises and small projects, so you learn by doing instead of memorizing.
Experience
I was a Stanford Code in Place section leader, where I mentored beginners in Python and core computer science concepts. I also work professionally as a developer with Python (FastAPI) and JavaScript/TypeScript (Next.js, MERN stack), so what I teach comes from real-world practice.
Lessons
Subjects: Python, JavaScript, web development and programming fundamentals
Levels: complete beginners, school and university students, and career-switchers
Format: online, one-to-one
Length: 60 minutes (flexible if you prefer shorter or longer sessions)
Each lesson is paced to you, with extra examples whenever something doesn’t click
