About Mthobisi
I was a junior statistician at CAPRISA, where I worked on a multi-country study with researchers from different part of the world. I also helped fellowship students with statistical data analysis for research proposals, reports, presentations, and theses. I was also a part-time lecturer at DUT, teaching business statistics to third-year students and business mathematics to first-year students. I also worked as a statistics and mathematics demonstrator for first and second year students during my postgraduate studies. I graduated from the UKZN PMB campus with a Master's degree in statistics. My master's project resulted in the publication of two research papers: the first was published in the journal Open public health, and the second is currently accepted by the African health science journal. I use STATA, R, Python, SAS, SPSS, and advanced Excel for data analysis.

I provide the student with an explanation of the subject through relevant, concrete examples. I give one or two examples from the book and two examples from the prior question paper after explaining the subject. I then present a practice activity to the pupil. If the person still has trouble responding to the question, I go through the process again until she understands it. I then give her a ton of homework problems to work on. We review our prior lesson in the second lesson, after which I grade the homework. I give the student the test following five lessons. To encourage him, I award him or her with present from my own pocket if he or she earns good marks of 80 or higher.
