About Emma
I am a Ph.D student in my second year of part-time studies, working towards my doctorate in English Literature. I have an MA in English Literature (Crime and Gothic Fictions) and have worked as a tutor on a part-time basis on and off for over four years. I am comfortable with teaching any age group, and would welcome potential tutees to have a quick chat with me before making any decisions.

I am happy to teach any level of English Literature and Language from Primary to Post-Grad. Lessons will vary from person to person as I like to tailor lessons to fit the student, I do not like to use a 'one size fits all' approach. I spend the first session getting to know the needs of my students, discovering their strengths and areas that need development. I like to use a mixture of teaching methods, and most importantly make the subject fun!

My flat fee for Primary-Secondary tutoring is £15 p/h in the student's home, or £12p/h online.
Undergraduate students at £18 p/h in the student's home, or £15p/h online.
Post-Graduate students £20p/h.
I also offer a proof reading service for £10p/h which is for any age group, or background.
