About Minette
Hello! My name is Minette and I’m a dedicated and passionate tutor with experience in both education and the corporate world. I hold professional experience as a Stage 4–8 Afrikaans and History teacher, as well as in high-level administrative and leadership roles, including Executive Personal Assistant and Sales Manager positions. This diverse background allows me to bring a well-rounded, real-world approach to my teaching. I offer private tutoring in Afrikaans, History and English for any age. I also assist adult learners who want to improve their Afrikaans or communication skills for personal or professional reasons. I teach in both English and Afrikaans, depending on what suits the student best. My lessons are engaging, structured, and tailored to each learner’s needs and learning style. I focus on building understanding, confidence, and independent thinking. Whether you’re preparing for tests, catching up, or simply want to improve your skills, I will support you every step of the way.
