About Amalie
I want to teach because I really struggled in school and it was not noticed by my teachers. I want to give children the chance to have someone they can reach their potential with. I will always do my absolute best to ensure that you have the best lesson possible. Mistakes are the foundation of learning, and with me, there is absolutely no shame in making mistakes. It allows me to see where we need to strengthen skills, and identify any misunderstandings. I want this to be a safe, comfortable space where you are not afraid to make mistakes.

My lessons will be up to an hour and a half if needed, but typically just an hour, this depends on what you want and if you feel secure with the topic! I will teach using PowerPoints but I will always have my iPad connected to my computer so that I can annotate as needed. I will not just read off the PowerPoint, they will be there to provide the resources that we can work on together. The lessons are aimed mostly at primary school children who may be struggling in school or coming to their SATs. I also offer tuition to GCSE students.
I am currently studying at university to be a primary school teacher. I have also worked across many schools as a teaching assistant, meaning I have lots of experience teaching whole class, small group, and 1:1. I will always adapt the lessons to your needs and how you best learn.
