About Kim

Hi! I'm Kim, an IB student with over five years of experience studying French as a second language. I’m passionate about helping younger students build strong language skills through fun, encouraging, and personalized lessons. As a dedicated and patient tutor, I always aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. I understand that every learner is different, so I adapt my teaching to meet individual needs. Whether your child is just starting French or wants to improve their grades, I’m here to support their growth every step of the way!

About the lesson

I tailor each French lesson to the student’s level, from elementary to high school. The first lesson will be an introduction to gain an understanding of the student's level and what approach will work best. I also help with homework and ensure my teaching follows the student's schoolwork. I use interactive techniques like conversations and visual aids to make learning engaging. My ability to connect with students through patience, encouragement, and creative strategies that make French fun and easy to learn is what sets me apart.

I found Kim on Superprof while looking for help with math, and I’m really glad I did. She’s an excellent tutor who makes difficult concepts feel much more manageable. What I appreciate most about Kim’s teaching is how genuinely patient she is. She takes the time to explain things step by step and never rushes you if you don’t understand something right away. That patience makes a big difference when you’re trying to learn math and build confidence. One thing that really stood out to me was when she shared how she struggled with factoring back in high school. It honestly made me feel a lot better, because sometimes it seems like everyone else already understands it. Hearing that she went through the same thing made the learning environment feel much more comfortable and relatable. Overall, Kim is a supportive, encouraging, and knowledgeable math tutor. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a patient tutor who genuinely wants to help students succeed.
