About Ananya

Hello! My name is Ananya, and I am a student at the University of Maryland with a strong academic background in mathematics, physics, and engineering. Throughout my education, I have developed a passion for problem-solving and helping others gain confidence in subjects that can often seem intimidating.

I understand that every student learns differently, and I strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where questions are always welcome. As someone who has successfully completed rigorous AP and university-level STEM coursework, I know firsthand the challenges students face and the strategies that can help them succeed.

I am patient, dependable, and committed to helping students achieve their academic goals, whether they are building foundational skills, preparing for exams, or seeking to excel in advanced courses. My goal is to make learning both approachable and rewarding while helping students develop confidence that extends beyond the classroom.

About the lesson

Hi, I'm Ananya, a student at the University of Maryland with a strong background in mathematics, physics, and engineering. My goal as a tutor is not just to help students solve problems, but to help them understand the reasoning behind each step so they can become confident, independent learners.

A typical lesson begins with identifying areas of difficulty, followed by guided practice, worked examples, and targeted problem-solving. I adapt my teaching style to each student's needs, whether they learn best through visual explanations, real-world examples, or step-by-step instruction.

What sets me apart is my ability to break down complex concepts into simple, intuitive ideas. As an engineering student, I regularly apply math and physics to real-world problems, allowing me to connect classroom material to practical applications.

My lessons are designed for middle school, high school, AP, and introductory college students seeking support in mathematics, physics, and related STEM subjects.
