About Khizra
Hi, I'm **Khizra** — an English tutor based in **Lucknow, India**, with a genuine passion for helping children communicate confidently in English.
I currently tutor children at home across multiple subjects — English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Math. So I'm no stranger to making complex ideas simple and fun for young learners.
My background in English runs deep. As an active member of my school's English Club, I've facilitated debates, guided students through discussions, and trained delegates for **Model United Nations (MUN)** conferences — essentially teaching kids how to think, speak, and present themselves confidently in English. I've also competed in and won **national-level debate competitions**, including **The Frank Anthony Memorial All India Debate Competition**.
I attended **Billabong High International School**, giving me a strong foundation in international-standard English from an early age.
**Languages I speak:**

This means I can understand where Arab, South Asian, and multilingual students are coming from — and that makes a big difference when you're learning a new language.

Thank you for your interest! Here is an overview of how my English lessons are structured.
I offer 45-minute conversational English sessions for children aged 8–12, designed to build real speaking confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
Lesson Structure:
1. Warm-Up (5 mins) — An engaging question or topic to get your child comfortable
2. Review (5 mins) — Revisiting the previous lesson to reinforce learning
3. Main Topic (20 mins) — One focused conversational theme per lesson (e.g. daily routines, hobbies, family, food)
4. Speaking Practice (10 mins) — Interactive conversation with gentle correction
5. Wrap-Up & Homework (5 mins) — Summary and a simple task to practice before next class
What parents can expect:
A short progress update after every lesson
Monthly themes so learning builds naturally week by week
A progress assessment every 4 weeks
A consistent, reliable schedule tailored to your family
