About Eash
Hi! I’m Eashwar, a Biology tutor based in Canterbury, currently studying film. I have a real passion for Biology and love helping others make sense of it in a clear, approachable way. Alongside tutoring, I’m an active person — I play hockey regularly, which helps me stay focused and disciplined, both on and off the field. Whether you're preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, or just looking to strengthen your understanding, I’ll tailor each lesson to your needs, making sure you not only keep up but feel confident in class and in exams. How I Teach My Biology Classes • Techniques and Teaching Methodology: I use a concept-based, inquiry-driven approach to teaching Biology. I focus on building a solid understanding of core principles before diving into more complex topics. Lessons include visual aids (like diagrams and animations), interactive quizzes, real-life examples, and exam-style questions. I encourage students to ask questions and think critically about how biological systems work, making sure they truly understand the "why" behind the "what.". • Typical Length of a Lesson: Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, which allows enough time to cover key content and practice application. For exam preparation or deeper topics, I also offer 90-minute sessions. Shorter 30-minute reviews or homework help sessions are available if needed. • Qualifications and Experience: I have an A in AS Biology. I’m experienced in helping students improve their grades, prepare for exams, and develop a genuine interest in the subject. • Who the Lessons Are For: My lessons are designed for secondary school and initial college students (ages 11–17), especially those, GCSE, IGCSE, AS-Biology. Whether you're struggling with specific topics, preparing for exams, or aiming for top grades, I tailor lessons to your level and goals.
