I’m a native Mandarin speaker with professional training in teaching Chinese. I enjoy trying new ideas and learning methods, and I see my students as learning partners. I offer relaxed, customized Chinese lessons focused on real-life communication. Lessons are adapted to your interests—such as Chinese dramas, culture, or daily topics—and mainly use an audio-visual approach to make learning natural and engaging. I enjoy exploring new techniques together with students to find the most efficient and enjoyable way to learn.
My lessons are designed for adults and young adult learners, especially those who:
-Learn Chinese out of personal interest
-Enjoy Chinese dramas and cultural stories
-Want to improve daily conversational Chinese
-Are beginners or at an elementary to intermediate level
Qualifications & Teaching Experience-
Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (TCSOL) .
Teaching experience at the Confucius(KongZi) Institute, handling classes independently, including intensive and short-term beginner courses. Also experienced as an online tutor for children aged 7–12, with strong adaptability across age groups.
Lesson Structure & Duration-
Weekday evenings: 1 hour per lesson
Adult-focused lessons: 1.5 hours per lesson
