About Amy
I am incredibly passionate about English Literature and reading and writing! Despite not being in for a large period of school time, and not having had time to learn content or memorize loads of quotes etc, due to my techniques and writing ability , I was able to achieve 2 marks off a grade 9 in my GCSE English Literature exams along with an A in my A Level official exam centre mocks, despite 3 days of content learning.
A lot of English Literature is indeed what your ideas and opinions are, but if they are not applied articulately and sophisticatedly, they won't be translated into higher marks. Content is incredibly important of course, but examiners really want to see how critical and evaluative you are of the text's purpose, techniques, plot and context - and how all of those link together, because yes, even the political time in which they were written affects the structure of paragraphs and the types of narration!
Having strong opinions and creativity is an incredible advantage, so once you learn how to hone it, you are bound to impress the examiners!

-- Analyzing and evaluating your essay responses and your writing to develop it further; specific techniques tailored to make your PERSONAL writing style shine in an exam light
-- Unique methods and linking techniques- it is basically all a big puzzle that you can choose the design of!

-- Those who have creative ideas but struggle to translate such into higher marks
-- Those who, despite knowing content, are stuck on grade 7 and below
-- Those with ADHD/ are Neurodivergent/ find they 'waffle' too much due to creativity and ideas which can be 'chaotic'
