About Nicole
¡Hola! I’m a native Spanish speaker from Spain, currently living in New Zealand. I have previous experience teaching Spanish, English and Catalan, and I genuinely enjoy helping people discover and improve their language skills. My lessons are relaxed, practical and adapted to each student, whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to improve your conversation skills. I also love sharing Spanish culture, everyday expressions and the little details that you won’t always find in a textbook!

I teach Spanish for people who want to actually speak it.
My classes are mostly focused on conversation and getting comfortable using Spanish in real situations. We can talk about things you're interested in, work on the Spanish you already have, and pick up new vocabulary and grammar as we go.
I especially enjoy teaching teenagers and younger learners, and I try to keep classes relaxed and informal. Making mistakes is part of learning a language, so there's no pressure to get everything right.

Having recently traveled with Nicole and admittedly, using her as a free translator despite us not even being in Europe. She was able to converse with people who spoke in languages “she claims”! not to be able to speak. She is an excellent communicator, passionate but patient and kind. If I was going to learn Spanish I wouldn’t want to learn Spanish from anyone else.
Nicole is an excellent tutor who is able to explain things simply and patiently.
