About Avanee
My name is Avanee. For 12 years I was working with an IT company and I was happy with my work. I started having some health problems and desk job was adding to it. As a child I had a brief idea about Yoga hence began my research. I quit my IT work for good and went to Mysore, India in 2017 where I did my Teacher training programs and later on was an assistant Teacher there for 1.5 years. Since 2019 I have been teaching Yoga as a consultant/freelancer. I take classes online at present and have developed ability to teach corrections online with time :)
I want to teach because I believe in the healing capabilities of a human being and U ga is one medium to facilitate this healing. I am still in the process to heal myself, however some of my health problems is cured :) like Hypothyroid and joint pains

We practice by breaking down the posture, understanding the technique to get into an asana/postural pattern, apply proper technique and come out from an Asana, the breathing pattern, build a conscious flow. Feel the balance of all postures, make corrections, little adjustments that have a larger impact on the body and mind. Focus stays on the union of body and mind through breath
-start and end with relaxation - 8 to 10 minutes
-practice mindful breathing - 5 to 7 minutes
-practice Yoga Asanas/postural pattern for 55 to 60 minutes
