About Andrea
I am a teacher assistant working with learners in an international baccalaureate school. I work with Intermediate age students (aged 10 - 13) and am able to tutor and support the educational needs of students in all curriculum subjects. I have a Bachelor in Applied Science (Child and Adolescent Psychology)

My teaching method it to engage the student and work with them at their level whilst providing a scaffolding approach to lift them and challenge them to reach next steps. I believe in approaching each topic with enthusiasm and a positive mindset whilst providing real life examples to help students learn in a holistic way. I believe it is vital to meet the student at their level and build confidence to learn from mistakes and encourage and praise their successes so they feel able to tackle future academic challenges with a can do attitude rather than that of self defeat.
