About Janet
I am a writer, translator, editor, and teacher. I've been studying English all my life and dedicating myself to perfecting it full time for twelve years. Before finishing my degree in English letters, I already had my Teacher's Training Course certificate from The Anglo's. After graduating with honors from UNAM, I spent two years studying for a master's degree at McGill in Canada. Since then I have dedicated myself to translation, editing, and teaching.

My classes are adjusted to the personal needs and goals of each student. I like to use textbooks as a guide, as they are pedagogical methods designed to cover the four language skills in a comprehensive way. However, I draw on the tastes, interests and hobbies of my students to supplement the base material with complementary activities that reinforce their areas of opportunity.
