About Emma

My passion for teaching began a long while ago. In high school, I volunteered as an English teacher in an Israeli-Arab village through an NGO, which was a very rewarding experience. During my Bachelor’s and Master’s studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam, I was selected by my professors as a junior teaching assistant for several economics courses. I also tutored university students through an external company. Now in London, in addition to my university teaching responsibilities, I teach Economics and Statistics for an International Foundation Programme. I am very happy to guide students both in their academic and professional careers!

About the lesson

I like to build a friendly and approachable environment for my students, encouraging them to ask questions freely. I believe that feeling comfortable with your tutor is crucial for effective learning - I know it was for me! I suggest we get to know each other in a 30 minutes free session, and from then we can plan our meetings ad-hoc based on your needs. My maths and coding lessons are targeted for students up to high-school level and university degrees in subjects like economics or social sciences. Economics and statistics up to any level.

Emma has been an invaluable help in preparing for some economics modules as part of my masters in infrastructure finance - no nut is too hard to crack with her by your side!

She’s also extremely kind and always came prepared to our sessions, which flew by. She was also quite patient!

Thanks Emma for teaching me econ and boosting my confidence!
Emma started tutoring me during my undergrad econ studies when I was really struggling with the material. Thanks to her I managed to get on top of my studies and also improved my grades. But most importantly she was extremely patient, and created a learning environment that really boosted my confidence. I recommend!

Emma has been of invaluable support for me! She is highly experienced in Economics, especially Micro and Econometrics, and she is able to break down complex topics for more efficient understanding and exam preparation. Also she helped my with some coding for the end of term project. Her kindness and reliability also make her a great tutor!
