I consider computational thinking very essential in teaching any Subject. By this, I mean breaking down complex subjects/topics to bytes of Information that will be easily digested by students.
I use a lot of illustration and familiar analogy in teaching. When explaining a concept, I begin with what people are familiar with. This way, your mind opens up to learning and understanding what is being taught.
Even the so called 'slow-learners' become stars in my classes.
