My name is Phil, I am an experienced English teacher from England focusing on IELTS and TEOFL.
My main focus is on helping students build on their skills to achieve their goals of not just passing the bespoke tests but also being confident in using these skills far into the future.

I teach in a very fun yet engaging way using lots of supplementary media and challenges. My core teaching strategies are to help students to improve their English language level and to have the ability to help themselves learn in their own time.
I have been in the education field for over 25 years starting with outdoor education and became aTEFL English teacher in 2006 and am currently updating my teaching qualifications with the 180hr TESOL certification.
I like teaching students with B2 English and above who wish to improve their speaking and/or writing skills for exams such as IELTS and TEOFL.
