About Stacey
I started out as the Behavior Intervention Coordinator for my Alma Mater, Morley Stanwood. Here, I kept track of all abscences, dress code violations, and behavior issues in the high school.
I then was the only and first special education teacher for Battle a Creek Montessori Academy. We launched the school in Sept 2013 and I did all the REEDs, IEPs, behavior plans, and testing for the entire special education population.
From there I went to an adjudicated facility, Lakeside Academy in Kalamazoo, Mi. I was the special education teacher for the Abused and Neglected Unit for 7 months in a self-contained room. I then moved to teach World History, US History, Government, and Economics for the school.
I currently am the 9-12 special education teacher for Bellevue Community Schools. I complete all the IEPs, transitions, REEDs, and manage the cases for 26 students.

I attended Ferris State University and received my Bachelor’s in history and English education. I then came back to FSU to obtain my MEd in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on special education (learning disabilities). I graduated with a 3.74 GPA
