Hi there, my name is Phil. I am a recent history graduate from Oxford University, where I specialized in modern British, American and European history, as well the history of political thought. I am embarking on a law conversion course later this year.
I was originally educated in Scotland, studying English, history and music at Advanced Higher, achieving As in all of those subjects. I also took German and Modern Studies at Higher level.
In terms of prior teaching experience, I have taught English as a foreign language in China, and have acted as a mentor to 6th year students looking to gain a place at Oxbridge.
I am a friendly tutor who knows what has to be done to achieve top marks. I enjoy helping others fulfill their potential.
