About Emma
Hello, my name is Emma DeGrâce, I am a third year secondary education student, majoring in history, minoring in English. I have had experience teaching in classrooms for English courses, and I have completed university level history courses on topics such as Acadian history, Canadian history, women's rights history, social history in modern Europe, race and rights history of the United States, history of the world wars, Greek and Roman history during the Hellenistic period, and many more. I have also studied the history of English literature in various university level English courses.

I believe in involving the student in their learning every step of the way. My teaching methods would include discussions encouraging critical thinking, readings and quizzes, adapted to the student's needs. I am currently studying secondary education, so I am better suited to teach high school, but I can also teach middle school. I am majoring in history and minoring in English. I am fully bilingual, and can tutor both in English and in French, which is my first language.
