About Sammy
I am a third year Philosophy student at the University of Manchester with great avidity for my subject, specialising in Ethics and Philosophy of Mind. I have won academic awards in Philosophy both at university and sixth-form, as well as volunteering as a tutor for GCSE students.

My primary goal is to help equip students with the skills they need to succeed in exams, and believe preparing essay plans is one of the most efficient ways of doing this, as well as being a holistic method of learning and understanding content. Philosophy particularly involves formulating arguments based on one’s point of view, and a fun way to do this is through thought experiment and discussion.

I have known Sammy for a number of years now and have seen how passionate and dedicated she is in her studies. She is a bright and welcoming individual who is keen to share and develop her knowledge, evident from her decision to further her learning and undertake a Masters degree in Philosophy. I would highly recommend Sammy as a tutor.
Sammy and I were in sixth form together, she really helped me understand philosophy and inspired me to get a degree in, what I like to phrase, human philosophy. Sammy is a great explainer, she can break things down to terms specifically to help an individual learn. I would choose Sammy if not only do I want help but inspiration!
