About Olivia
When you work with me, you’re working with someone who truly understands both the content and how to teach it in a way that makes sense. I’ve spent five years as a special education math teacher supporting students from elementary through high school, so I know how to break down tough concepts, close learning gaps, and build skills step by step. I hold a Master’s degree in Education Leadership in Equitable Education and Reform from Virginia Commonwealth University, and I use that training every day to make sure my instruction is clear, structured, and personalized. Most importantly, I believe every student is capable of growth. My job isn’t just to help you get the right answer—it’s to help you understand how you got there and feel confident doing it on your own.

With five years of experience as a special education math teacher serving elementary, middle, and high school students, I bring both deep content knowledge and a strong understanding of how students learn best. I hold a Master’s in Education Leadership in Equitable Education and Reform from Virginia Commonwealth University, which shapes my commitment to meeting each student where they are and helping them grow with confidence. I specialize in breaking down complex math concepts into clear, manageable steps, creating scaffolded supports, and building individualized strategies that actually work. Families should choose me as a tutor because I don’t just reteach material—I identify skill gaps, build foundational understanding, and empower students to become independent, confident learners.
