About Celina
Hi! I’m Celina, a multimedia visual artist and a senior at Parsons School of Design in New York, where I have developed a breadth of knowledge in both conceptual thinking and technical art practice. My expertise spans across creative direction, fashion styling, conceptual and performance art, painting and drawing, sculpture, wearable arts, photography, and videography.
Through my training and experience across multiple mediums, I bring a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to teaching and am committed to helping students build confidence, technical skill, and a clear artistic voice.

My lessons are thoughtful, uplifting, and constructively critical. At the beginning of our journey, we will set clear goals together. From there, I guide students to explore the unknown while building strong foundations within their core artistic practice.
I encourage students to expand their creative thinking and develop their unique connection with the world, discovering insights about themselves just as much as art making. My lessons are ideal for students aged 12 and above, including those preparing portfolios for art universities locally and internationally. I am fluent in both English and Mandarin.
I tailor my lesson plans according to an individual’s specific needs and skill level. I look forward to supporting your vision and helping you build a powerful language of visual storytelling!

Celina was the first person I knew from university and we have been roommates since then. She is one of the most artistic and creative person that I have ever encountered, from painting, sketching, sculpting to creating performance art, she was never limited to any media form. As I pursue my path in the fashion industry, I would often ask for her design opinions because I trust her aesthetic and her vision. She is very nice and patience, im sure having her as a tutor would be so fun.
I’ve worked with Celina before as a complete beginner, and I can't recommend her enough. She breaks down fundamentals clearly, meets you exactly where you are, and has a way of guiding you to figure things out yourself rather than just correcting you. I am able to provide basic art making tools (pencil & pen, paintbrush, sketchbook). However, I highly encourage students to bring in and explore their own artistic mediums, research, and we can work on a project collaboratively.
