About António
I’m António, a Portuguese student who has lived, studied and worked in five countries. I’ve interned at the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Canada, worked in governance in Brussels, and I’m currently a European Excellence Scholar at Trinity College Dublin. Over the past few years, I’ve grown enormously—going from an average student to truly excelling in my field. I really want to help younger students achieve the same transformation.

I adopt a structured and personalized approach to tutoring, centered on clarity, real understanding, and practical academic progress. My methodology is a mix of explanation, discussion, and guided critical thinking, helping students not only learn the material but truly understand how to apply it in essays, exams, and real-world contexts. A typical lesson is 60 minutes and combines concept review, step-by-step guidance, and tailored feedback on written work. I have studied, lived, and worked in 5 countries, completed a Political Science and International Relations degree, interned in diplomacy in Canada, worked in governance in Brussels, and I am currently a European Excellence Scholar at Trinity College Dublin. This international background allows me to teach Politics, International Relations, Geopolitics, Political Philosophy, Academic Methodology, and related fields. My lessons are suitable for high-school students (IB, A-Level, international schools), bachelor students, and master’s students who want to improve their academic performance, develop stronger analytical and writing skills, and deepen their engagement with global issues. I can also support students who are preparing applications for Bachelor’s or Master’s programs in the social sciences.

Perfect! Hi there. I found Antonio to be an excellent tutor and very helpful. Even though he is,away at the moment promoting his venture, I can stay in contact. I chose not to continue with the sesdions and have been charged for June 28th subscrition of 389 euros. I would expect to get back a full refund gor Jine. I had only tso sessions in May. I am terminating my account and payment details with you. I have not heard back from him and not receiving any follow up sessions with my tutors.

I’ve know António for a long time, and even tough we come from very different academical backgrounds (I’m a chemical engineer) he’s always been one of the people that has more knowledge about all the different professional outcomes and really comes up with clever solutions to people who sometimes are a bit unclear about their future, be it academically or professionally.
Antonio is a classmate of mine, and he is a brilliant organiser. He's able to create clear plans which will be super helpful to his students, both in essay writing and their work organization. I would highly recommend him!
